Description
The Grand Défi de Victoriaville invites the community to participate in its brand-new cross-country event, the Défi des bois, sponsored by Plombaction, which will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Parc Terre-des-jeunes de Victoriaville.
This cross-country running event has many race options: in nature, on grass, on gravel, or courses of 500 m, 2 km, 3 km parent-child, 4 km, 6 km and 10 km. Registered participants will receive a medal with the event's colours, a multi-use neck warmer and will have access to snacks during the event.
• Parent-child concept: youth aged 6 to 12 accompanied by an adult can participate in a 3 km cross country fun run. It's enjoyable for everyone!
• Shift the focus from performance to having fun. This run is an untimed, 2 km cross-country course that you can run as many times as you would like, up to a maximum of 10 km.
• Form a team for a cross-country relay: for an unforgettable group challenge, take part in our cross-country style relay race. Create a team of 3 young people (14 to 17 years old) or 5 people (16 years old +) for a cross-country relay where runners will have to complete a 2 km loop in the woods.
COMPANY CHALLENGE: 5 colleagues - 10 km
Companies are invited to form teams of 5 employees to complete a 10 km relay course (2 km per person).
SCHOOL CHALLENGE: 3 students - 6 km
Local schools are invited to form teams of 3 young people aged 14 to 17 years for a 6 km relay course (2 km per person).

Please note that once you've registered, a $5 fee will be charged to change courses or distance and a $10 fee will be charged to transfer your registration to another person, in addition to paying the difference between the cost of the events.
