More than 93 sites (armland and woodland) are operated on private land under lease, distributed within a maximum ride of 50 km from the Reservoir Beaudet to Victoriaville. The latter, declared an IBA zone for several years now, welcomes nearly 150,000 birds annually during the migration period, which makes it one of the major migratory stopovers in eastern Canada. In addition, the area offers white-tailed deer population densities of around 12 to 19 deer/square km and is considered by many to be THE BEST DESTINATION on the continent to hope to harvest trophy deer with regularity.
