Description
The Drummondville Symphony Orchestra's mandate is to interpret, broadcast and promote the symphonic works of the great repertoire. Professional organization residing in Drummondville, its action extends over the territory of Center-du-Québec. He also produces educational series, chamber music concerts and "classico-popular" off-series concerts. The richness of the orchestral formation allows him to express all the sensibilities of a repertoire combining traditions, contemporary works and unpublished research.

The Drummondville Symphony Orchestra (OSD), founded in 1991, is the largest professional music organization in the Center-du-Québec region and is part of the select group of nine (9) professional symphony orchestras in Quebec and the forty -five (45) pillars of orchestral practice in Canada.
The Orchester symphonique de Drummondville is a unifying organization that addresses the entire population of the region it serves to share its passion for classical music with a population of 243,798.
