Description
Parcours Culture nature (Culture and Nature Trail)
To highlight the various attractions of old Arthabaska, a new active mobility trail will be launched on September 25, 2025.
Explore Old Arthabaska
The Laurier Museum Society, the City of Victoriaville, Victoriaville Tourism and its region, and the History and Genealogy Society are joining forces to develop a sustainable tourism project centered on culture and nature.
The route aims to highlight attractions such as the Laurier Museum and the Hôtel des Postes Museum, the Boisé-des-Frères-du-Sacré-Coeur park, the Saint-Christophe d'Arthabaska church, and Mount Arthabaska.
It includes the addition of an educational and cultural trail at the Laurier Museum, the development of a public space, landscaping, street furniture, and communication tools. All of the attractions will be linked by an interactive walking trail with historical interpretation highlighting the Victorian era.
The Culture Nature Trail is made possible thanks to financial support from the Quebec government as part of Destination durable et action concertée, a support measure administered by the FAQDD stemming from the 2020-2025 Action Plan for Responsible and Sustainable Tourism and the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy as part of efforts to encourage climate-responsible tourism practices.
