With a view of the Rivière Noire, the Forêt ancienne refuge (without water or electricity) is available for exclusive rental for a rustic experience in the heart of the forest.
It will appeal to adventurous customers who want to enjoy the calm of the forest and the incomparable charm of this site for an overnight stay.
Your dog is welcome! Please note that dogs must never be left alone in the dwelling.
The refuge is accessible to all during the day (it acts as a relay) and is reserved exclusively for rental customers from 4 p.m. in the afternoon until 9 a.m. the following morning.
Rental includes :
- the hut for the night
- wood-burning stove (wood supplied)
- two-round stove (propane not included)
- 4 floor mats (vinyl-covered)
- a dry toilet a few meters from the refuge
Located 2 km from the parking area, the refuge is only accessible on foot. You'll need to bring your own equipment.
Renters are advised to bring the following items: drinking water, food, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, sleeping bags, pillows, flashlights, candles (with container for wax), toilet paper, first-aid kit.
The Forêt Ancienne sector offers a wide range of seasonal activities: hiking, biking, fishing, hebertism, snowshoeing and birdwatching.
