Newly renovated, the Étang Roger-Paquet offers a postcard-like setting where photographers can take in a magnificent setting. This impressive natural environment is located just a few minutes walk from the Victoriaville's downtown and combines rich biodiversity with a truly Zen feel, not to mention a welcoming and educational landscape. Visitors can wander through a wooded trail and read educational boards on the path's edges to learn more about the fauna and flora of this natural gem. This is also a historic site.

Also, the Parc Terre-des-Jeunes welcomes outdoor and recreation enthusiasts year round. With an abundance of trees and located on the shores of the Nicolet River, the park is a preferred site for bird-watchers. Walking trails are accessible in summer, whereas in winter, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and walking trails follow the river.

You'll find the Parc Terre-des-Jeunes and Étang Roger-Paquet on the Centre-du-Quebec Region Bird-Watching Tour.
