Baptized in honor of renowned musician and music director Jean-Pierre Lambert, who is from Victoriaville, the JPL Victo Jazz festival is a unifying event focused on jazz and all the declination of styles that can result.
Presented at Le Carré 150, Victoriaville, during the month of February, it offers both an accessible program of shows and activities for the general public and a competition dedicated to jazz formations of ten musicians and less.
A part of the programming is also devoted to the school clientele. For its first edition, from February 7 to February 9, 2019, The public will have the opportunity to enjoy many professional musicians from Quebec and internationally, in addition to being able to attend the performances of jazz formations in competition.
